Hyspecs Automation Launches in Australia, Expanding Engineering Motion Solutions Across the Region

Melbourne-based Automation division marks the company's first Australian expansion since becoming its own business within the Hyspecs Group.
Hyspecs Automation, the industrial automation and controls specialist within the Hyspecs Group, today announced its official launch in Australia, extending its engineering motion solutions across the country from its newest base in Melbourne.
Hyspecs Automation began in 2024 as a specialist department within Hyspecs' Auckland branch in New Zealand, delivering turnkey automation solutions including PLC and motion control systems, robotics and collaborative robots (cobots), conveyor systems, linear motion technology, tightening solutions and panel building. Following strong demand and growth in New Zealand, Automation was registered as its own company within the Hyspecs Group on 1 July 2026.
The expansion into Australia builds on that momentum, giving manufacturers, OEMs and industrial businesses across the country access to the same end-to-end automation capability already established in New Zealand. Hyspecs Automation works with a network of trusted global brands including Bosch Rexroth, Kassow Robots, SMC, Atlas Copco, Schneider Electric and Siemens. Hyspecs is an authorised distributor for Atlas Copco and SMC.

Hyspecs Automation Australia will be based at the company's Melbourne branch, with plans to grow its reach across the country over time. The division offers everything from individual components through to complete turnkey automation systems, covering design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and ongoing support.
