Position: Hydraulic Sales Engineer, Full Time
Location: Melbourne
Reporting To: Branch Manager

POSTION OVERVIEW
We are looking to add another Sales engineer to our team here in Melbourne. You will join a small busy team and will be required to be involved in all aspects of the business. Your primary focus will be on servicing existing customers while also growing the business and attracting new customers through cold calling and other means.
You will also be involved in other aspects of the business such as stock control, despatch, product changes and HPU/Project builds as required.
RESPONSIBLE FOR
Engineering
- System design, specification & quoting
- Project management & Documentation
- Commissioning onsite/internally as required
- Onsite fault finding and/or testing as required
- Hydraulic circuit design/ circuit drafting
- Hydraulic manifold design/modelling
- Component selection/specification
- Technical support/back up (internally & externally)
Sales
- Independent management & growth of existing clients
- Seeking out new clients/opportunities/growth for the company o Technical design and support of our products & services
- Dealing with internet/web site enquiries as required
- Dealing with customer enquiries as required
- Regular local customer calls
- Interstate customer calls as required
- Invoicing “CASH SALES” as required
Despatching & receiving goods
- Despatch product to customers as required
- Assist in stores with stock control as required
- Assist with any modification/changes in products as required
Project/HPU Builds/Product changes
- Assisting as required with project/HPU builds
- Assisting as required with product changes prior to despatch
Other
- Any other reasonable duties as required
